From the MHJL website --- The OCN Blizzard have traded the CJHL playing rights of 20 year old goaltender Austin Rediron and future considerations to the La Ronge Ice Wolves for the CJHL playing rights of 20 year old defenseman Joren Johnson
I beleive he started in Battleford then to Dauphin then to LAR. If you read the other 9 Junior A league websites you can find out what is happening in the SJHL as far as trades - except for trades within the league. Is the SJHL short handed for web staff?

I don't know what to make if it. I'm starting to wonder if the league doesn't actually have a person dedicated to particular aspects of the website and it is just whoever whenever. Transactions are like 3 weeks old already. A person can stay much more up to date on Twitter, but as far as I'm concerned twitter is a brutal media platform. I can't make heads or tails of half the conversations on there.

La Ronge just became a powerhouse. We must humbly admit he does have the best scoring record of any goalie in the league for a long time , but his PIM kind of rubs that out, esepcially when you count in the games missed to suspension for obscene gestures. Powerhouse may be a bit of a stretch. The suspension was enough to reduce my respect but no reporting to OCN drops it further. Coaching staff aside - how much different is OCN and LAR - both remote northern communites, so why does he say yes to LAR and no to OCN - anyone know?

My best guess would be that its closer to home, and he can take revenge on the Melfort Mustangs. Even though he has a bit of a temper he will do well this year.

My guess is that he is trade bait as the goaltending in La Ronge has been very solid this year. Maybe a rediron/oleksyn package is in the works?
