I think it Depends on how reliant humboldt was on their goalie that is no long there. I’m guessing flin flon takes the series in 6.

Bombers have been playing well even with injuries but no doubt Mercier, Duperrault, Vockler, tremblay are all top end players and definitely need them to compete with Broncos. Feeling pretty good about this series. I think the semis are two great matchups…minimal bus travel. |

The Bombers are getting healthier by the day and to be honest I wasn’t sure we were going to get by the Bruins with the amount of injuries we had. The young guys sure stepped up and if you ask me. The Bombers are deeper now because of it. There’s been lots of talk on Matt’s goaltending performance but I can tell you Lasar-Hume was also stellar in this last series. Made some huge saves when needed and I can’t imagine it would be easy when you’re getting half the shots in some games. Not to mention the assist on the game winning goal last night.
The biggest question for me is will the Bombers get enough rest after the long gruelling haul they did with Estevan. Quick turnaround with all the travel they just did in a 7 games series.

Agreed, top 4 seated teams in the standings still playing should make for a great semifinals.
I think Humboldt had the old tandem switching every game. Not sure if the kid who’s out was their #1.
Went on to look at the stats comparison but it only shows Motews line but I think they were pretty close.
Broncos D stronger this year then last IMO.
FF has injuries but watching last night, those 4 seem like they can play through it with no problem.
Friday can’t come fast enough

Excited to root for the bombers now. I’d love to see them take the cup this year, it would be great for Vonny to be a champion back to back.

Sweep may be a bit aggressive. No  haha guys are still pickled from the big W last night. While the guys that returned to the lineup for the do or die games 6 & 7 looked pretty good, I wonder how healthy they actually are. Minutes/Lines were spread out in an interesting way. Two full days off and a shorter bus trip might just be a nice rest/momentum mix for the first two games. It'll be a hell of a series. Making the trip from Brandon for Saturday nights game. Can't wait to giver at the EPA!! Horns aloud? Haha |

Last year the majority of the team was ill with the flu that had some of leagues top scorers in the hospital on iv between games 2 and 3. I am going with the Bronco/Stars final |
