Well after 13 games this year the Wolves are 500, with only 5 returning players. Regardless of the record, I can honestly say that the home games have been a treat to watch as the team has (for the most part) a compete level that far exceeds last year. Nice to see. Now just need to get another 300 - 400 fans a game into the barn.
The game last night was on Access and was very entertaining. Watch it when it is on Access cable (if you have "access" to it).

Everyone else might not feel this way but the term "compete level" is one of the most annoying catch phrases out there. Did the word effort fall out of everyone's vocabulary?

Level of effort or compete level, who gives a $hit. If they're going, they're going. Nice to see another topic instead of only seeing topics pop up from the pre season. I'm a Bomber fan but the parity is great for the league again. Hell, even though Estevan has been hammered lately, they've managed to beat the Hounds so I can't complain!

Snipe44: I don't like buzz words either....and hockey is full of that, some teams don't have any "appetite" for a trade, or defensive system cant gain any "traction", and finally my least favorite, "moving forward" the team need some mobile shut down big minute Dmen. You get them all on the talk radio or TV sports shows. I think Bob McKenzie makes all this stuff up.... But the Ice Wolves are making a go of it, through hard work and team play. Maybe the coach is getting through. L4D

I think they are missing a pure offensive talent with the off season moves they made. Perhaps a player comparable to a guy like reed Delaney who see's the ice incredibly well. A clutch player who can make big plays at important times.
