As much as I hate to post anything about the Bombers but will because they're who I know best, I found this weeks Power Rankings pretty funny. There were definitely some accurate rankings, although, it's not rocket science but some laughable as well, especially the Bombers. "Handled by the Hawks this week" - I guess that refers to their split over the weekend where the shots were 1 off of being completely even. I understand that doesn't dictate the whole picture but I follow along closely enough that I know it wasn't a wash - especially considering how many game changing vets were out of the line up in game 1 for the B's and a couple for game 2 (I can't speak for the Hawks line up). OH, and then, "the loss to the Wolves must be concerning". Just as it must be concerning to the Stangs, Klippers and Stars after the Wolves came up with big wins against them as well. Joyce stopped 44 against the B's and 39 against the Stangs only allowing 1 past in each. The Wolves played in a tough division all year and I would not want to meet them in the first round if they can sneak in there.

Well, I don't think ya said anything untrue, Hawks got 1 more goal in the series, maybe Stackhouse thinks that is being handled. L4D

Well I'm shocked..... Not! Bombers are dirty, Flin Flon gives out phantom assists. Who cares what Mike Stackhouse thinks anyways? Or anyone else? Go Bombers!

I don't put much stock in the power rankings, but noticed today the he's certainly inconsistent from one week to the next. It was the position of the Mils relative to Humboldt that caught me eye. It prompted me to look back over the last month and a half, keying in on those 2 teams. Actually kind of funny.
Jan 12 to 18, both had a 1-2-0-0 record, Mils drop from 6th to 7th and the Broncos climb from 11th to 8th. Jan 19 to 25, Mils go 1-0-0-1 and hold 7th, Broncos go 0-0-2-0 and slip to 10th. Jan 26 to Feb 1, Mils go 2-1-0-0 and move to 6th, Broncos go 2-0-0-0 and move to 9th. Feb 2 to Feb 8, Mils go 1-2-0-0 and slip to 8th, Broncos go 3-0-0-0 and stay in 9th. Feb 9 to 15, both teams go 1-2-0-0. Mils hold 8th and Humboldt climbs to 7th. Feb 16 to 22, Mils go 0-2-0-0 and drop to 11th, Broncos go 0-2-0-2 and drop to 9th.

Same goes for the CJHL ranking idiots. KK and ND have almost same records, pretty much split season. KK rated #12, ND not ranked. Either KK had no business at #12 or ND should have ranked nearby. To put any stock in this crap is pointless.
