Just a little tid-bit. Did a little research on hockeydb and found his stats from omaha, and the rest of his career and he was a pretty decent player. But he is now coach of the Omaha AAA hocky club. All you bomber fans who remember him should check out his profile pretty impressive: www.omahahockeyaaa.com/page/show/51717-coaching-staff anyways thats all

He was originally a Melfort Mustang, got cut at camp as a 17 year old (due to a limit on Euros), went and played Junior B in the South Sask league, and was later traded to Flin Flon. At that time, Euros were no longer allowed to play in Junior A, but he was grandfathered in since he had already spent a year playing hockey in Canada.

You're really testing my memory.... It would've been 97/98, the same year of Fedotenko. That's the year he was cut. www.melfortmustangs.com/page.aspx?page_id=882I should've phrased this better..... Euros that were already here were allowed to continue, of course. I think Sergei Sinicin in Weyburn was a good example of that. Anyways, that's the jist of it. That was a long time ago, so the more years that go by, the foggier the facts get.
