This was as important for Yorkton to win tonight as it was for La Ronge. Nobody wants to play the 7th game in the opponent's home rink. It has to be disheartening for Yorkton, cruising along 2-0 for two periods and losing it with 4 seconds to go. I think we'll have to put up an Icewolves vs. Klippers thread Tuesday night. The extra two days rest should help the Icewolves heal some of their wounds.

Yorkton will not make it to Laronge if they keep playing Decker.

Oh my god I am getting tired of every single time the terriers lose a game everyone starts blaming Decker. He wasn't the one who got caught pinching in a tie with less then 10 seconds to give the Klippers a 2 on 1.

Both goals where very soft and Peters should of stopped them the terriers lost because they sat back in the third like they always do it was the same thing in game 4.

You can't blame Decker on the first goal, and you can't really blame anyone on the second. When the puck turns into a pinball like that, all you can really do is pray.
Anyway, this thread might not have been such a great idea.

When all is said and done the series will be done in minimum 6 games. 7 games will be probable.

wolves in four. I've seen alot of the terriers this year, I would have liked to have played them over any team in the playoffs, they are def. not gonna contend with the Strong Northern Wolves, who beat the bombers and the stars. This is a quick trip to the RBC for LA, good for there community, club, and all involved. If they beat dauphin, they are gonna win the whole d**n thing. Yorkton don't get to comfy, you'll only see two games. Rough road nowadays to La Ronge.

There is nothing better than seeing a teams fans talk about how they are going to sweep a series. I hope the Wolves players are this over confident as well. This should be a long, hard fought series with the winner going up against the Kings who have looked unbeatable in the mj. Hard to tell how they will stack up again the sj champ.

Hmmm. I wonder what the Yorkton Board thinks now. Firing Zwatasky when he recruited all the kids. Just imagine there are 4-92's in the Terriers lineup. Thats incredible. They could be good for a couple more years. And Eddy got the boot. HMMM...

From what I've heard, the reason the Terriers are playing so much better in this years playoffs, is because of the change in the locker room after the coaching change occurred. This is rumour and really only the players know for sure.

Considering many people thought we wouldn't beat Melville, or Weyburn and they beat them easily I love how the Wolves fans think the Terriers are just going to roll over and die. Granted the Klippers forced them to 7 games but that was more their goalie standing on his head. I agree its a minimum 6 game series.
Also thank you Eddie for putting this team together.

Congrats to the Wolves. Go all the way. Just get your whiners about refs to stop it. LA is like the Broad Street Bullies. That is who they are. They will always get more penalties. They overcome and they win. Celebrate and stop your whining.

No whining here just winning. I think we all know the refs suck in the sjhl, and if we talk about it its not whining. Have you been watching the same playoffs that ive been watching.?

Are you kidding? Evidently you haven't seen a single one of their playoff games.
This is an entirely different Yorkton Terriers team.

OK, so one LA fan is saying they will handily beat the Terriers. Relax, don't paint the fans AND players because of someone with a crystal ball. I have seen the Terriers play in Yorkton and in La ronge this year, they were great defensively and the Wolves had a tough time potting goals against them. The Wolves are also very strong defensively, with some 4/5 guys stepping into 2/3 roles on D with previous injuries. That being said, these two teams are NOTHING like they were in the reg season, ie: many trades and even a coaching change.
Go Wolves, take the home ice to our advantage and show them what you've got!!

I do not have a clue who will win this series...the Terriers like the Wolves have evolved into strong forces, both have faced tough opponents with some really tough games. But I love this 5th vs 4th thing. Who would have thought LA would end up with home ice advantage in the league finals. A real X factor here is the winner of this series is going to the RBC. Plenty of motivation for both teams. If I had to pick one of these teams I will take the Wolves only because whoever eliminates the Bombers goes the distance. Its not a good reason to pick the Wolves but I gotta stick with the North...that's were I live. Congrats to the Terriers for a great unexpected run, looking back maybe the coaching change had some effect (duh!!!!)...I thought they were nuts at the time though, have to say. Good luck to both teams, you make SJ fans very proud of what you have done..leave it all on the ice fellas. Brent Lethbridge

I think you can throw the regular season out the window. You have teams with a ton of confidence about to get at it for the league final. I think more people would have given LA a better chance to be where they are than Yorkton. Confidence goes a long way, it might only take a bad bounce, a bad call ( like that would happen ha ), to make the difference. La Ronge had an important extra couple days off and it will be hard for Yorkton to turn around and get back on the bus to LA and try and find the energy its going to take to be successful in the Uniplex. You can throw 4/5 out also. This is now 1st in the north playing 1st in the south. Good luck Wolves.
