This does come as a surprise to Hawks fans. Sidhu was much improved from last year and fans were expecting him to rise to the top and be a powerhouse next season. As far as making room for Hnidy. There are about 4 other dmen that would be a better choice in keeping numbers down. Talk around town doesn't make anyone think there is a dressing room problem, just a guy in the wrong place for this part of his life, hope he does well closer to home. As far as Balog, IMO Thudium will give more to the team in his potential 3 years than Balog could have in his last season, possibly more than Balog added in the 2 he DID play. I am a bit ashamed that he didn't report and Grnade prairie got the shaft. Skilliter wanted to be done after his 19 year old season and some of his friends talked him into going against his heart and 1 month in he realized he was here for the wrong reasons. Hopefully the only reason the season is long for Johnson is that he gets the true potential out of his recruitment class - They have lots but will it do anything. ??

Sidhu was/is soft belongs in bcjhl.where you do not get hit. We already got a bunch of average DMen. Balog was cancer in room good riddance. If you do not want to be part of the team we do not want you to be part of the team.

Sidhu skates well and is now on the defending BCHL champion Coquitlam Express. Unfortunately, they have 2 wins in 13 games so far and a roster featuring smaller, dipsy-doodle, flashy players who can't seem to win the hard areas in front of either net. They lead the league in goals against. The hopeful news is that there are some very weak teams in the BC league and two more in their division. The SJHL has good parity so far this year and it makes for a far better product.
Hello NCAA and CIS scouts?

I hope scouts are flocking to sj after RBC cup victory, parity, a return to the showcase along with age related scouting opportunities. I find the sj game the way it is played resembles pro hockey more then any league out west due to the physicality, older players, awesome goaltending etc....but do the scouts know and let's not forget the incredible will and commitment of Saskatchewan players:-)
