It could be done properly if someone stepped up to take control, leadership, but just renting the facility isn't enough. There is a lot of prep work to create the atmosphere and it takes a lot of people and work. Most of whom are not noticed on the average game night if they do their job. They are noticed when they don't do it and things are not "normal".

Think the surprise of the showcase was the Yorkton Terriers... Got themselves a couple nice wins... May not have been the strongest teams they played but they didn't make the draw... Like there youngsters... Competed hard... Nice to see there goaltending finally keep it under a touchdown!... Holy smokes are they bad in net!... Pateman is the furthest thing from a Jr A goalie... No secret why Virdon dumped him and Kustra... 5'8" and 200 llbs!!!... What was his off season training... Taste tester at a Cheetos factory!.. Brutal!... Cassan obviously had enough and brought in the new kid...who shut the door on Melville this afternoon... Can easily see the new guy getting bulk of the work this next whole....If he was smart he would keep looking for more options in net...could easily see the terriers cutting one of them if this new guy pans out... Just average goaltending will get them to 500 quickly...

Average goaltending will not get yortkton to 500. Great might. They have 2 wins, they are still a below average rebuilding team
