Melfort in 4. Too much fire power. And their goalie is playing lights out. Even if the Stangs get outplayed badly. Venne will steal the game.
Sorry to the Beret lovers but this series will be short and sweet. Tarts will get thrown out of one game guaranteed 🤷‍♂️

When was the last time we saw a legitimate line brawl in an sjhl game?

Just saw that many of the fights and associated penalties have been removed from the Melfort game sheet. We hear a lot of complaining about the officials. I cant believe the micro managing of the league over these calls. How much confidence does the league destroy in these officials game after game by undoing the on ice call or changing it after the game? I think I have found a reason that officials may not care like they used to. I know this is a bit of speculation but as a Dad I know if i questioned and changed my child's decision this often our relationship would be extremely damaged. Thoughts on this? Should the league not "Have the officials back" seems like they get thrown to the vultures more often than protected publicly. Perhaps discipline should be behind closed doors, not broadcast on the internet.

Hey boys “ two of the four scuffles the players still had their gloves on… is that really a “fight” is it worth them being suspended for multiple games? Just a different perspective. Almost every game in the SJ has a ref supervisor in attendance who will then be involved for sure in situations such as this.

Perhaps discipline should be behind closed doors, not broadcast on the internet. If calls didn't have ramifications beyond the game, revisions would be irrelevant. With the Junior A supplement, that isn't the case. You think it makes more sense for the league to potentially punish a player and team twice over for an erroneous call so officials don't feel undermined when they make a mistake? Would your relationship with your son have been better if you grounded him every time somebody claimed he did something he didn't do? Or would it make more sense to look at evidence and determine the course of action accordingly?

Had a good chuckle reading the Bruins Facebook post
“Bruins Game Day!
We are back at home tonight for game 3!! As we get set to take on the Mustangs. Make sure to come on out to Affinity Place and make some noise!! “
Is this for real? Tartar is constantly whining about the noise in other arenas. Haha!!!

Not the outcome I wanted but unfortunately expected. This team was just too unpredictable this season.

I mean he does his thing but that makes it hard for those kids to bounce back from that mistake

Miller definitely experienced a lot of growth in the last month.

Injury. I thought maybe he was resting for playoffs but apparently not. I haven’t heard the exact nature of his injury.
