Very good report, Stattick! This was a very good game to watch. On the way home I listened to bolt radio....3rd star-Dow 2nd star Ens 1st star Close-it wasn’t even “close”, by far best on ice tonight and stole 2 for Klippers. Internet score sheet says 3rd warkintine 2nd Close 1st Dow. Question- who picks the internet stars? I’m a bronco fan but omygosh picking the first star was a no brainer tonight. Things a bit heated near end- osytrick and kin coach yelling at each other, so much that kin coach removed his jacket like he wanted to fight.

One thing I saw when they played in yorkton a little while back is the coaches get pretty emotional when the game or calls aren’t going their way. The more vocal they got the more it looked like the players fed off it and it cost them in the penalty box and in executing their game plan. Perhaps there’s too much emotion in the dressing room and on the bench? They sure turned it on for a short time in the second and were dangerous so the talent and desire is there. I know the head coach wasn’t on the bench today and it could’ve just been a bad day but maybe the team gets led astray with all the yelling and complaining to officials....only saw them once so could’ve been a one off in yorkton and you didnt see the bench on the broadcast today but maybe a cause for the little slump they’re in?

Sounds like the same when the Klippers played in Humboldt last week,

Whoops, whats happened to the all star team now. Have they broken up the team too much and lost their chemistry. It's as if only the heros on this board (but not the Bronco fans) crowned the Broncos as champs. Wild that every team in the SJ looks kind of average this year and they aren't an exception.

Very little complaining and hardly a scrum in this one today. Warkintine cut and had to leave game, kinda thru the broncos off,IMO. Hum took the first 8mins of the second off and terriers buried 4. Bit of a push back with Clarke goal, but a hot goalie and zero puck-luck kept broncos at bay. Teddy bear toss, ugly jersey auction and kids skate were all well received. The on-line three stars are questionable again, who the heck picks them?

In the long run the 3 Stars aren’t a big deal but it is a little offensive to look at some of the teams sites and see the biased being that overboard First 2 stars are Broncos in a 6-3 loss ....

I do know some teams keep track and at the end of the year the team leader gets a small scholarship sponsored by a community member/business. So for some it does matter.

The same when the Klippers visited, They shut out the Broncos 2-0, Close stops all43 shots and gets 2nd star.

Humboldt radio had ball, albrect and Parkinson 123. I wish that they would ask the radio guys for star advice. Not really a 7-2 game last night imo. Shots were even and I’d say scoring chances were fairly even too. Melfort buried their chances broncos did not. Parkinson marks it look easy, always square and in good position.

So uhhhhh.......anyone wanna tell us what’s going on? 🤔 Major off ice issues. He has his demons I’ve been told. . Was anyone at the golf course to witness his performance before the season started? They had a big team fundraiser tourney.

Well, that truly is too bad, for him firstly and secondly the team, they are doing well. Have to look out for number 1 before you can look after anyone else. All the best to him.

I would be very sad to learn that a player chased a man from the coaching position and from the tiny bit I have seen of Oystrick I doubt he ran scared by Drew. Who knows why or what caused this but let's hope if it is a personal thing he can get it dealt with. However after talking with more than one person about mid season acquisitions I would have to agree with klipperman and say to yourewrong that, "you're wrong ".

I think there is merit to the Warkentine comments, I do think he can be a handful. That being said, I don't see Oystrick moving on because of dressing room problem. The Broncos were rolling before Warkentin showed up....if it was Warkentine causing the problem....its an easy solution....get rid if him and they are back to the team they were and there is plenty of season left. I think there is more to the story that likely involves a lot more between the board and Oystrick. It would not have been an easy position....
